MANDI: AI Note Scanner
Snap, tag & search your notes
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
MANDI turns a pile of photographed notes into a searchable, organized library. No typing, no manual tagging.

HOW IT WORKS
Snap a photo of any note, whiteboard, syllabus, receipt, or handwritten page. MANDI reads the image with AI, pulls out the text, and suggests tags automatically. Your note is saved, organized, and searchable within seconds, without you lifting a finger beyond the photo itself.
SMART, VISUAL ORGANIZATION
Notes live on an interactive graph view, connected by shared tags, so related notes surface naturally as your collection grows. No folders to manage, no filing system to maintain.
AI-POWERED SEARCH
Search in plain language and MANDI ranks your notes by relevance, with an AI-written summary of what it found. Looking for "the syllabus with the exam dates" works just as well as an exact keyword.
WORKS OFFLINE, TOO
No AI key configured, or no connection available? MANDI still captures and saves your photo and lets you add tags yourself. Nothing is ever lost, and you can trigger a fresh AI read later with one tap once you're back online.
RETRY AI ANYTIME
Not happy with how a note was read, or want to reprocess an older note with a better model? Retry AI re-reads the photo and refreshes the text and tags on demand.
YOUR KEY, YOUR COST, YOUR CHOICE
MANDI connects to AI models through your own OpenRouter API key, so you're always in control of cost and model choice. A live, cost-aware model picker shows exactly what each model costs and automatically favors the cheapest capable option, or you can pick a specific model yourself. Usage is tracked right in the app so you always know what you've spent.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your notes and photos stay on your device and are sent only to the AI model you've chosen, for the sole purpose of reading and tagging them. Export a full backup of your notes at any time, and import it back whenever you like.
