Listen to the Quran as you read: start a recitation and the page turns on its own as each ayah ends. Plus a new Prayer Times widget for your Lock Screen and Home Screen. NEW • Recitation in the reader. Start it and follow along ayah by ayah. • Choose what the reader shows: the Arabic, the transliteration and the translation, one under the other. The Arabic is now set in Amiri Quran with numbered end-of-ayah markers. • Prayer Surahs. Open Prayer Info from the Prayers section of the Worship tab to read Al-Fatiha, the short surahs and Ayat al-Kursi as they are recited in salah, in Arabic with transliteration and translation. • Prayer Times widget. See the next prayer and today's times at a glance, on your Lock Screen or Home Screen. IMPROVED • Pick the calculation method your community follows, such as ISNA, Muslim World League or Umm al-Qura, in Profile. Automatic still uses the authority for your location. • Choose when prayer reminders arrive: 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes before each prayer. • The Dhikr widget now shows your progress with a ring, and the Daily Ayah widgets have a fresh look.

Find a place to pray near you with the new Nearby Mosques screen. Open it from Worship to explore mosques and prayer rooms on a map and see the closest places first in the list. The map and list stay in sync when you select a place. Tap a pin or a place in the list to see its address and, when available, its estimated walking time. Open walking directions in Apple Maps with one tap. If no places are found nearby, you can continue the search in Maps. Nearby Mosques is free to use and shares the location permission used for prayer times and Qibla.
