MedBattle is a party game about medicine, made for a room with people in it. Two to six players, one television, and 5,931 multiple-choice questions that medical students and doctors will happily argue about all evening.
It is not an exam simulator. No syllabus, no percentage score, no verdict at the end. Just a board to fill and somebody to beat.
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
Couch — one to four players, one Siri Remote, passed around. One person answers while everybody else reads the same question and quietly hopes they miss it. Get it wrong and the next player has one shot at stealing it. Works with no internet at all: every question is inside the app.
Party — up to six players, a phone each. Scan the code on screen and the phone becomes a private answer pad; there is nothing to install. Everybody answers at once, and nobody sees anybody else's answer until the reveal.
HOW A MATCH IS WON
Two correct answers in a subject claims its wedge. The six subjects split into two halves — pre-clinical (The Human Body, Disease, Drugs) and clinical (Internal Medicine, Surgery & Senses, Mother & Child) — and winning means taking wedges from both.
That is the whole fairness mechanism. The student who revised anatomy last month and the consultant who last sat that exam twenty years ago can each take the match, and the game never asks which one you are.
Three Consulti per player, for the whole match. Spend one before answering to double what you win, or what you lose.
Nobody is ever eliminated, progress never falls below zero, and running out of time is scored as unanswered rather than wrong.
PICK THE LENGTH
10, 20 or 30 questions, or play until the board is won. Ten by default, so a first match ends while everybody still wants another one.
