Drop in a screenshot, get a device frame around it and a PNG with a transparent background. One frame or a whole row, with shadow and depth. Mockd puts screenshots into device frames and writes out a PNG with a transparent background. Drop a screenshot onto the window. Mockd looks for a frame that matches its pixel size, sets the screenshot inside it and shows the result at once. Drop in more screenshots and they line up as a row, with sliders for spacing, overlap, depth and shadow. The transparency survives the export, so the image sits on whatever background you put behind it later. THE FRAMES ARE YOURS A device is a folder of frame images. Point Mockd at such a folder and it copies the files into its own storage, then measures where the screen sits in each one. Apple's design resources work this way, and so do frames from other sources. Where a frame has no transparent inner area, you enter the four values once by hand and set a corner radius; from then on that frame behaves like any other. Mockd comes with a sample device in three colours, portrait and landscape, so there is something to try before you have frames of your own. WHAT COMES OUT Save as PNG, copy to the clipboard, or drag the preview straight into another app. Output size runs from 10 to 100 percent, and the pixel size is shown before you save.
