You define once which rules you want to decide by. Then you type in the question and Precept answers within a second: YES, NO, WAIT or DELEGATE. By your rules, not by your mood. HOW IT WORKS 1. Set your rules. A rule is made of keywords ("meeting", "buy", "party"), an optional time window ("after 6 pm") and an optional context ("only when I'm tired"), plus the outcome that applies. To get started you pick a template: knowledge work, freelance, budget, social battery or focus. 2. Type the question. Mark what is working against you today: tired, stressed, short on time, short on money, socially drained. These chips are brakes: rules with a context only fire when it is set. 3. Read the verdict. Precept shows it big, with the rule that fired underneath. If no rule matches, your default outcome applies. The history shows what you decided and when. Rules, priorities and time windows can be changed at any time. Precept only decides the way you taught it. No randomness, no AI, no cloud.
