• New: Elkaa Offline — scan ~95,000 popular food and cosmetic products with no internet. Available as a yearly subscription in Settings → Offline Database. • Free for everyone: products you've scanned before now open offline, and anything new you scan offline is looked up automatically when you're back online. • Improvements and fixes.

• Create a free account to unlock Search, or keep using Elkaa as a guest. Scanning, history and recommendations work without an account. • New: support Elkaa's independent development with an optional tip. You'll find it in Settings → Tip the Developer. • Fixed: password reset now lets you set a new password.

New in this update: • Sign in with email (quick and free) — your scan history always stays on your device either way • Search now asks you to sign in first — it's the only way we can tell how many people use Elkaa, since the app has no analytics • Better offline handling, with a clear message instead of getting stuck when you have no connection • Faster, smoother switching between tabs • New Settings tab with quick access to Search and your account • Bug fixes and performance improvements Thanks for using Elkaa!

This update makes Elkaa faster, more reliable, and available to more devices: • Now works on more iPhones — no longer requires the very latest iOS • Faster, more reliable scanning, with fewer incorrect "not found" results • A new first-launch walkthrough for new users, covering scanning, scoring, and additives • A refreshed app icon • A quick way to rate Elkaa, right from Settings Thanks for using Elkaa — keep the contributions coming!

This update makes Elkaa's scoring smarter and more accurate: • Better additive detection — we now catch more E-numbers, including ones only listed in the ingredients text, not just official product data • More accurate scores — scoring now runs on our servers, so it improves automatically over time, even between app updates • Straighter product photos when you contribute a new product • A quiet confirmation beep when a scan succeeds Thanks for using Elkaa — keep the contributions coming!

This update makes Elkaa's scoring more accurate and transparent: • Every additive (E-number) in a product now gets its own risk rating — Risk-free, Limited, Moderate, or High — with a plain-language explanation of what it is and why it matters • Scoring now catches heavily processed ingredients that raw nutrition numbers alone would miss • Contributed product photos automatically get their background removed for a cleaner look • Fixed an issue where the scanner could get confused by QR codes • Various accuracy and performance improvements
