Rename with a date, text, initials, and a sequence. Merge folders, extract JPG, RAW, or video, and split a mixed card—fast, local, and built for assignments.
Folder Tools is a focused Mac utility for photographers who need to rename or reorganize assignment folders quickly—without opening a full ingest or culling app.
Merge multiple source folders into one destination. Extract JPG, RAW, or video into clearly named sibling folders. Split a mixed card into separate JPG, RAW, and video folders. Rename photographs with a date, text, initials, and a sequence. Copy or move files with duplicate handling, sidecar awareness, and a clear operation log.

SAFE BY DESIGN
• Merge into a folder—not loose files directly onto the Desktop
• Warn before Move operations that delete source files
• Ask before a rename that changes names in the same folder
• Block risky nested source/destination combinations
• Show a file count before you run a merge
Folder Tools works locally on folders you choose. No account, subscription, cloud library, or network connection is required.
