Papershot - Shared Photo Album
Guest camera for any event
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The best photos of your day are the ones you weren't holding the camera for.
papershot turns every phone in the room into one shared roll of film. Guests join in the papershot app by scanning a QR code. No account, no sign-up. Everything they shoot lands on the same roll, and it develops when you say it does.
How it works
1. Open a roll. Name the moment, set when it starts and ends, pick a film look.
2. Hand out the QR. Guests scan, the camera opens. That's the entire setup.
3. Shoot together. Everyone gets a set number of shots. The limit is the point: a handful of frames makes people compose the photo instead of spraying 40.
4. It develops. As it happens, the moment the roll closes, or hours later. Your call.
Not just photos
A roll holds three things, not one.
• One video each. Short by design, and you set the length.
• One voice memo each. Ask the room a question and let them answer it. Each memo plays back like a voice message, with the speaker's face and the question they answered.
• Guest Lens, your shot list. Write down the shots you actually want (the toast, the group shot nobody remembers to take, whoever is hiding in the kitchen), and each one ticks itself off as guests capture it.
The Studio
Once the roll develops, the photos are raw material. Lay them out on a backdrop, add tape, stickers, and your own words, and keep what you make.
Film looks
Original, Vintage, Black & white. Lock one for everyone, or leave it open so each guest picks their own. Applied as the shutter fires and finished at full resolution.
Host controls
• When the moment starts and when it ends
• When it develops: instantly, at close, or after a delay you set
• Shots per person: 5, 10, 16, 24, or 36
• Video and memos on or off
• Block a guest from adding more without touching what they already added
Private by default
A roll is for the people in it: no public gallery, no search, no feed. If something is reported, we review it. Every photo, video, and memo downloads at full resolution, so you can save what you want and keep it wherever you keep the rest of your photographs.
Pay per moment, not per month
No subscription. Every moment is free for up to 4 guests, and the roll is kept 48 hours after it closes. For more guests and 30 days, pay once for that moment, in the app.
Made for
Any event worth more than one camera. Birthdays and dinner parties. Weddings and receptions. Engagements, showers, bachelorette weekends. Graduations and reunions. Group trips and road trips. Concerts and festivals. Team offsites and launch nights. A long Sunday at somebody's kitchen table.
Seven languages
English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Polish, Spanish, and Swahili, with full right-to-left layout in Arabic.
Days only happen once. Keep them whole.
