Aura · El tiempo
Spain's weather, with soul
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Aura is Spain's weather, told calmly from open data with public access.
Every forecast comes from AEMET, the State Meteorological Agency, through its OpenData API, with air quality from MITECO. No middlemen: the open data, presented clearly.
AT A GLANCE
• Your municipality's forecast: sky, temperature, rain and wind.
• AEMET's own written outlook for today and the days ahead.
• Next hours, hour by hour.
• The day's maximum UV index and air quality by pollutant.
• AEMET (CAP) warnings for your town; when there is nothing to report, there are none.
SUN AND MOON, WHERE THEY REALLY ARE
The sun crosses the screen at its real position; after dark the moon takes over in the same place, with true moonrise and moonset. The background shifts with the hour and the weather, and you can pick landscape or cityscape.
EVERYWHERE
The same app on iPhone, iPad and Mac, plus an Apple Watch companion with face complications for rain chance, UV and sun times, and Home and Lock Screen widgets.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no tracking, no ads. Your location is used only to find your municipality and request its forecast. Nothing reaches me: there is no server of mine. Open source.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
What's new:
• Location search puts the exact city first, so searching Zaragoza finds Zaragoza instead of the whole province. Type "name, province" to narrow towns that share a name.
• Widgets and the Watch stay current more reliably: refreshes no longer collide, the app finishes its refresh before suspending, and the phone and Watch share one back-off when AEMET rate-limits requests.
• The Watch and its complications use the phone's place when their own has no current data, and duplicate pushes to the Watch are skipped.
• A notice appears when a refresh fails and older data is still on screen.
• Fixed the XL widget sun arc, the Watch sun overlap, a hidden moon and a Predicción title that wrapped. Verified support for the iOS, iPadOS and watchOS 27 SDKs.
