ConstructionCalcs: Builder Pro
Feet Inch Fraction & Concrete
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Feet-inch-fraction math, a unit converter and concrete slab yardage, all on the device with no signal. Pro unlocks the estimating answers and keeps your jobs saved.
Feet, inches and sixteenths. Added, subtracted, multiplied and divided, and read back the way your tape reads.
If you have ever turned 3/8" into a decimal, added a column of them, turned it back and cut it wrong, this is the app that stops that.
WHAT IT DOES TODAY
The feet-inch calculator takes 12' 7 3/8" as an input, not as a problem. Add, subtract, multiply or divide by a scalar and get a mixed fraction, rounded to the sixteenth or the eighth, whichever your tape shows.
The unit converter moves between feet and inches, decimal feet, plain inches, millimeters and meters. Plans in metric, tape in imperial, one tap between them.
The concrete slab calculator gives cubic yards from real feet-inch dimensions, with a waste factor you can see and change, so the ready-mix order is right the first time.
ON A JOB SITE, NOT AT A DESK
- It opens and works with no signal. Everything runs on the device
- No account, and nothing you type leaves the phone
- Big keys, one hand, readable in daylight
- Every answer has a copy button, because the answer's next stop is a text message
- One small banner sits on the home screen and never on a calculator. Pro removes it
WHAT PRO IS FOR
The free calculators stay free, and there is no cap on how much you calculate. Pro unlocks the answers on the estimating calculators, keeps your jobs and projects saved between visits, and takes the banner away.
WHAT IS COMING
Tape fraction rounding, equal spacing, diagonal and square check, concrete bags, footings, columns, rebar grids, block walls, stud and plate counts, on-center layout, roof pitch, common rafters, roof area, stair and stringer layout, drywall sheets, paint coverage, gravel, and markup versus margin are in build. Subscribe for what ships today, not for what is coming.
ESTIMATING AID ONLY
This is a calculator, not a code authority. Always verify against your local code and the approved plans.
