Stop Scrolling: Pausely Focus
App Blocker & Screen Time
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Stop scrolling on autopilot. Pausely is a screen time app blocker that puts a short, calm pause between the tap and the feed.
You didn't decide to open it. Your thumb did. Choose the apps that pull you in (social media, video, games) and the next time you reach for one, Pausely steps in first: a breath, a written reminder, a quiet moment to decide whether you actually want this one.
You can always continue. Pausely never locks you out of your own phone. It simply returns the few seconds the habit skips, and most of the time that's all it takes.
HOW IT WORKS
• Pick the apps, categories or websites to protect, powered by Apple's Screen Time technology
• Reaching for one brings up a calm pause instead: a breath to follow, a line worth reading, a moment to feel where you are
• Continue if you mean it, or walk away. No guilt, no shaming either way
• Or do the thing you said you'd rather do: "Or: read for 10 minutes" can open your book, your notes, your meditation app
WATCH THE TIME COME BACK
• Time reclaimed this week, counted in hours and minutes
• Pauses, walk-aways and streaks, kept kindly and never held against you
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and a Live Activity while a short access window runs
MADE FOR
• Breaking the doomscrolling habit on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit or any app you choose
• Staying focused during work, study and sleep
• A digital detox that doesn't mean giving up your phone
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Everything stays on your iPhone. No account. No ads. No tracking
• Pausely never learns which apps you block. Apple's Screen Time keeps that on your device
• Until you switch on the optional AI reflection, the app makes no network calls at all
IN YOUR LANGUAGE
English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Simplified Chinese.
Pausely is not about quitting your phone. It's about the twenty opens a day you never actually chose.
