Your season in one place: harvest, a comparison with last year and photos. Share your recap, and on quiet days see which garden job comes next.
"Did I already prune the currants this year?"
Garden Hour is not a plant encyclopedia. It answers a single question: what actually makes sense to do in your garden today.
TODAY
Open the app and see: 8 tasks · 58 minutes. Tell it how much time you have and whether it's raining - it picks what matters most and calmly sets the rest aside. And when you can skip something, you learn why: "No watering needed, it rained yesterday." Reassurance without a reason is a black box; here every "you can skip it" comes with its explanation.
WIDGET
See what's needed today before you even open the app - on your home screen in three sizes and on the lock screen. It works a week ahead, so it holds even when you haven't opened the app for a few days.
YOUR OWN TASKS
Anything the calendar doesn't know, you add yourself - and let it repeat every week, month, year or on your own number of days. The app keeps track of when it's due again.
YOUR GARDEN, NOT A CATALOG
No database of 800 tomato varieties. Your beds, greenhouse, cold frame, trees and bushes exactly as you have them - every plant with its own hand-painted watercolor (press and hold to see it in full). Tap to adjust the count, move a plant between beds, rename a bed "by the fence" the way you actually call it.
A DIARY THAT WRITES ITSELF
Every task you check off becomes an entry. Your tomatoes get a story told by seasons: sowing, planting out, first harvest, yields in kilos - while routine quietly folds into one line, "Watered 45×". Come autumn, "2026 vs. 2025" reads itself. Photos and notes are a bonus, never a duty.
LOOKING BACK ON THE SEASON
Come autumn, ask "How did this year go?" and see your harvest by crop next to last year's, your first picking and the season's photos - then share the whole season as a picture. Winter doesn't go quiet either: the app tells you the garden is resting and shows which job comes next, and from when.
CROP ROTATION
The garden remembers what grew where. When you plant a bed in spring, a quiet warning appears: "Tomatoes grew here in 2025" - at the exact moment you're deciding, not a page away.
GUIDES AT HAND
How to prune raspberries, when to pinch tomatoes, how to graft an apple tree - step by step, with pictures, right on the plant or task they belong to.
WEATHER
One switch: raining / not raining. Plus a quiet hint from Apple Weather ("11 mm of rain here in the last 24 h"). Weather advises; it never decides for you.

Your garden season in one place.
The new season recap brings together your harvest, comparisons with last year, and garden photos. You can also share your season as a picture.
On quiet days, Today shows the next job and when it becomes available. In winter, the garden gets a chance to rest too.
New winter jobs include emptying the water barrel before frost and checking stored vegetables. Checks on stored apples and pears now continue through January and February.
