Run a finger along the ridges and a real guacharaca answers. Guiro turns your iPhone or iPad into a guacharaca, a metal güiro or a plastic güiro, with sound recorded from real instruments. Finger speed and direction change the sound, exactly like a real scraper, and you feel every ridge under your fingertip as you play. Tap the plate at the bottom for a hit. THREE INSTRUMENTS INCLUDED A wooden guacharaca, a metal güiro and a plastic güiro, each with its own 25 ridges and its own hit. Swipe sideways to switch. BUILD YOUR OWN Record your own instrument with the microphone, photograph it, and trim the audio — all inside the app. Your photo becomes the instrument you play. PLAY OVER YOUR MUSIC Load a backing track from your files and play along, with its own volume and a 0.5x-1.5x practice speed that never changes the pitch. RECORD YOURSELF Capture your playing — on its own, or mixed with the backing track — and share it. NO ACCOUNT, NO INTERNET Guiro asks for no sign-up, needs no connection, and sends nothing anywhere.
