NearNow
Lifestyle
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Useful, privacy-first updates and conversations from the neighborhoods you choose.
NearNow helps you stay informed about useful local life—without requiring a personal profile.
Choose the neighborhoods or postal-code areas you care about, then receive relevant local Signals from organizations and people nearby. Signals can include community updates, food offers, events, safety information, and other time-sensitive notices.
You can:
- Follow up to five local areas.
- Receive alerts relevant to your selected areas.
- Browse active and recently expired Signals.
- Start a conversation for a Signal and exchange messages with other participants.
- Share a short Signal with your neighborhood.
- Control notification frequency, quiet hours, and notification summaries.
- Remove or expire Signals you created.
- Review your privacy information and request deletion of your data.
NearNow does not require your name, email address, phone number, social login, or GPS permission. Your area is selected manually, and the app uses a pseudonymous installation identity.
NearNow is an early-stage local service operated by SG Availability and local coverage may vary while the service grows.
