HAN'A HAN'DAN (KHAN TO KHAN) UPDATE
Our biggest update yet: the saga of Alpagut Han, your orders in the middle of battle, new decision cards and a completely new soundtrack.
The Saga of Alpagut Han
- Alpagut Han's story continues in two new acts: Kurt Yavrusu (The Wolf Cub) and Demirkapı'nın Düşüşü (The Fall of Demirkapı).
- Each time the Khan beats you, he sends a mocking letter; each time you beat him, the nickname he gives you changes.
- His son Böke is on the border, two neighbours have signed the İki Kapı Ahdi (Pact of Two Gates) and the Kızıl Yığınak (Red Muster) has reached your gates. You can also break the pact without drawing a sword.
- Finally, the Great Siege and the duelling ground: will your general face the Khan in single combat? You decide, and you also decide the Khan's fate.
- After Alpagut the border stays restless: depending on the ending you choose, Böke Bey seeking revenge, the bandit lord Kara Davut who holds the mountain roads, and the Üç Kapı Ahdi (Pact of Three Gates) of your border neighbours.
- Alpagut Han, Böke Bey and Tüccar Yakup now speak with their own portraits. Six new achievements await.
The Critical Moment
- When a battle hangs by a hair, the scene slows down and you give the order: cavalry charge, arrow volley, shield wall, catapults, sending your general forward, or retreat.
- Each button tells you what the order gains and what it costs. If you give no order, your commander fights as he sees fit.
- Defensive battles are now fought in front of your walls: sally from the gate, arrows from the walls, spear wall, or close the gates.
- Akıncı raids have critical moments too. Turn a battle with your order at the critical moment to earn the Kıl Payı (By a Hair) title.
- You can switch the question off in Settings; story finales always ask.
More Varied Decisions
- 116 new decision cards and rewritten petitions: each of the 16 petitions has its own options and its own cost.
- Story chains now run four or five steps; the harem and every tier from village to empire have their own stories. A finished story leaves a piece for your banner and a lasting reward.
- The same card coming back soon after is now far less common.
New Music and Sound
- The music has been completely renewed: new original pieces for the village, the city, night, the Divan, campaigns, sieges, battle, the critical moment, ceremonies and Alpagut Han.
- More than 300 new sounds: clashing swords and arrow volleys, battering rams and catapults, the town crier and the bazaar, howling wolves, rain, forest and sea.
City and Interface
- New placement view: the plot is marked with tiles, a ghost of the building appears in place and you confirm with "Buraya kur" (Build here).
- Building names now glide smoothly while you scroll the map.
- A new "Oyunu puanla" (Rate the game) button in Settings and in the Kâhya's Notebook.
While You Are Away
- The story does not advance while you are away: the enemy army waits in camp, the Kâhya does not fight duels, and at the critical moment he follows the Critical Order you left.
