HOW IT WORKS
Pick the apps you want SlowPulse to guard. The next time you open one, SlowPulse steps in first with a quick question instead of letting the app load straight away.
• Shopping or trading apps: SlowPulse asks what problem the purchase solves, then tags it — planned, replacement, gift, or impulse — using on-device pattern detection.
• Food delivery late at night: SlowPulse asks what's actually driving the order before checkout.
• Social media, video, games, dating, or news: a short breathing pause and a simple "are you sure?" before you fall in.
Every check-in takes under 10 seconds. It's not a lock, a timer, or a lecture — just a beat of friction where there used to be none.

Your dashboard tracks your streak and how many times you've paused today. Insights shows money saved (amounts you almost spent, then didn't), an estimate of time saved, and a weekly breakdown of spend by planned / replacement / gift / impulse — so you can see the pattern instead of just feeling it.
BUILT ON APPLE'S SCREEN TIME
On iPhone, SlowPulse uses Apple's Screen Time framework to shield the apps you choose — the same system-level technology behind parental controls, turned on yourself, by you. SlowPulse never learns which specific app you opened; it only knows the category you assigned it.
PRIVACY FIRST
SlowPulse works entirely on your device by default. Signing in is optional and only syncs your streaks and history across your own devices — nothing is sold, shared, or used to target you with ads.
