Redact screenshots and photos before sharing with AI, support, or coworkers. Hide API keys, emails, phone numbers, and other private details while keeping useful context visible. Review suggested matches Cloakshot scans your image on your device and suggests areas to review: • API keys, tokens, JWTs, passwords, private keys, and database URLs • Names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, IDs, and payment details • IP addresses, hostnames, account IDs, project IDs, and local file paths • Faces, QR codes, and barcodes Choose what to hide Turn suggested masks on or off, select a word or individual characters, resize a mask, or add one manually. Choose Gaussian blur, solid black, or surrounding-color fill. Export a separate copy Cloakshot writes the selected masks into a new image file. Your original stays unchanged. You can also remove GPS and selected photo metadata from the exported copy. Before sharing, the main app checks the selected redactions and metadata settings in the exported copy. Automatic detection can miss or misclassify content, so always review the final copy.
