New: Pause, a quiet tab in the middle of the bar. Follow a breathing guide, settle into music to unwind, rest, sleep or focus, sit in silence with a soft bell, or answer today's question in a few lines. Links under the Pause title and four cards on the front page take you straight to each part, and the circles now live under your account.

Made for iPhone Duo. Open, the big screen lays stories out in a grid of cards with articles in a comfortable reading column. Folded, the cover screen keeps the phone layout. And the daily card's "One small thing for today" label no longer cuts off on narrower screens.

A new icon and a cleaner masthead: the Creations lotus in fresh colors, and the CREATIONS wordmark on its own at the top of every screen, on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

Creations is now on Apple Watch. It opens on the piece the magazine is leading with, with the next headlines below it; tap one for its summary and pick it up on your iPhone. The front page and every section now scroll on and on, so there is always more to read. On iPad, stories sit in an even grid in every orientation.

Small fixes and improvements.

Creations is now on iPad: a sidebar with every section, the featured story beside its headline, a grid of story cards, and articles in a comfortable reading column. On iPhone, a softer look with rounded corners throughout.

A softer look throughout. Every photo, card, button and field now has rounded corners, and the featured story on the front page is a wider photo card with its full summary beneath it. On iPad the photo and headline sit side by side.

Articles now open the way they do in the magazine: the first letter of the opening paragraph is a large drop cap, with the paragraph wrapping around it. The byline under a headline is also tidier, with the author on one line and the date and reading time on the next. And on smaller phones, today's affirmation no longer jumbles its label and date together. Photos and sponsored images load more reliably on a weak signal, and pick up where they left off as you scroll.

A piece whose writer typed a less-than sign now reads in full. The app was treating every one of those as the start of a tag and dropping the rest of the sentence with it, so a line comparing two numbers quietly lost a few words. Nothing on screen looked wrong, which is why it went unnoticed for a while.

Today's affirmation now opens the front page, the same one the magazine publishes each morning, with the practice beneath it. It changes each morning. In Account you can turn on a notification for it, separate from the alert for new articles, so you can have one without the other. Circles and Search now carry their title and your account the same way every other tab does, and the launch screen no longer flashes white on a light-mode phone.
