Meet the bananas! A cheerful new pixel-art look across nana, plus Siri that just works — say “Log a bottle in nana”. No subscription — one-time unlock!
The baby tracker built for 3am. Two taps to log a feed, one hand, eyes half open — and every caregiver's phone is already up to date.
Start a nursing timer on your phone and your partner sees it running live on theirs. No accounts, no company servers — everything lives in your family's own iCloud, where we can't read it.
Hands full? Just say it. “Log a 4 oz bottle in nana” or “Log a wet diaper in nana” — Siri saves it with your name, even from the Lock Screen. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, say “Log what happened in nana” and describe it in your own words; nana drafts the entries and saves nothing until you say yes.
And it’s a little joyful, too: every activity has its own pixel-art banana, and a baby banana on Home shows what’s happening at a glance — nursing, napping, or ready for a feed.
Once nana has seen a few bottles, Home tells you how much to pour next, from your baby's own feeds. Insights shows what's changed over any range you pick, with an arrow on every line.
nana is on iPad and iPhone Duo!
• iPad: Home and Quick log stay on the left while Today, Activity, Insights or Family fill the right, in any orientation. Log a bottle and the timeline beside it updates as you save. In Split View or a narrow window, nana switches to the familiar iPhone layout.
• iPhone Duo: unfold it for the same side-by-side view. At night, stand it half open on the nightstand for a dim screen with the sleep timer, one-tap feeds and diapers, and the sound machine, turned up a notch while you nurse.
• Away mode: in the NICU, or away from your baby for a while? Pause tracking. Reminders stop, widgets and your watch say “Tracking paused”, and Trends and the doctor summary leave those days out of every average. Tap “We’re home”, or just log something, to pick up again. Add or fix past stays any time from Home, Activity or Settings.
• Apple Watch: new complications show the time since the last feed or a running nursing or sleep timer on any face, one per child for twins. The redesigned watch app logs nursing, bottles, diapers, pumping, sleep, tummy time, medicine, temperature and notes, with Undo.
• Medicine in a bottle: gave a dose in the feed? Pick it on the bottle sheet or in Quick log, long-press a dose to mix it into a nearby bottle, or just say “Add Vitamin D to the bottle in nana”. A dose logged within a few minutes of a bottle shows under it; open the bottle and choose “On its own” if it wasn’t. It still counts for reminders and “last given”.
• Same medicine, two names? “Merge medicines…” in Insights or your medicine list puts them together, keeping every dose’s amount and time, with Undo.
• Siri: “Log a bottle in nana” now tells you which milk it used. Say “Make that breast milk in nana” to change it.
• Missed a nap? After a long quiet stretch, the timeline offers a “Possible sleep” you can confirm in one tap, adjust, or dismiss. Still asleep? Tap Sleeping to start the timer from when the quiet began. Nothing is added until you say so.
• Timers and charts: started a nursing, pump or sleep timer late? Fix its start while it runs. Both sides in one sitting now read as one nursing bar with its total time, and longer Insights ranges get clearer date labels.
• Settings: “Write a review” opens nana’s App Store review form directly, every time, and Privacy links nana’s privacy policy.
