Exact doses for your exact water. Test, dose, log — watch it go from green to crystal, and know at a glance when it's ready to swim or soak.
Type in your test readings. PoolBud tells you exactly how much of what to add — for your
water volume, your chemicals, your units.
The calculator and swim check are free forever. The logbook — unlimited check-ins, photos,
trends and the Water Report — is $5.99 once. Not a subscription. No account.
From green to crystal, on the record.
WHY POOL OWNERS SWITCH
• Exact doses in grams, ounces or millilitres — for the chlorine you actually buy (liquid,
cal-hypo, dichlor, trichlor, or bromine for spas)
• Every dose shows its work — standard published chemistry, no store runs you don't need
• Swim-range check on free chlorine, always visible, always free
• pH doses carry honest bounds: add ⅔, re-test, top up — how the pros avoid overshooting
THE LOGBOOK
• Photo check-ins: watch your water go from green to crystal
• Trends for chlorine and pH against their target bands
• Season chapters — your pool year, kept
• The Water Report: a before/after card worth showing someone
• A weekly test reminder (one nudge, no other notifications ever)
HOT TUBS TOO
• "Ready to soak?" — chemistry and temperature in one answer
• Bromine dosing, spa target ranges, and a dark mode designed for evening soaks
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no analytics, no ads. Your data lives on your phone and syncs through your own
private iCloud — never on our servers, because we don't have any. Deleting really deletes.
Litres and gallons are both first-class. In-ground, above-ground, and inflatable pools all
welcome.
PoolBud is a water-care tracking tool, not professional advice. Dose results are estimates —
always follow chemical label instructions.
