Kids Science Explorer
Learning games and experiments
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Thirteen worlds of real science, ten games your child learns from, and twelve experiments for the kitchen table. Read aloud in nine languages. Works with no wifi.
Quality screen time you do not have to feel guilty about.
Kids Science Explorer hands a curious child thirteen worlds of real science, from the solar system to dinosaurs to the human body. Every page is read aloud, so a child who cannot read yet can explore the whole app on their own.
Built for ages 4 to 12, and every word of it works with no wifi.
THIRTEEN WORLDS TO EXPLORE
Space and planets, the night sky, planet Earth, nature, dinosaurs, the human body, water, fire, energy, gravity, motion and machines, chemistry, and a home lab.
TEN GAMES THEY ACTUALLY LEARN FROM
Drag the planets into orbit around the Sun. Build a body organ by organ. Work out whether a dinosaur ate meat or plants, then feed it. Connect real stars into real constellations. Every game teaches something true, instead of handing out points for tapping.
TWELVE EXPERIMENTS FOR THE KITCHEN TABLE
Simple experiments using things already in your cupboards, written in clear steps to do together with a grown up. This is the part children still remember years later.
IT GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD
Three reading levels, so a four year old and an eleven year old meet the same topic at the right depth. Nine languages are built in, including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Hindi, each with a friendly voice reading every page.
MADE FOR THE CAR, THE PLANE AND THE WAITING ROOM
Fully offline. Nothing to download, nothing to buffer, nothing that stops working when the signal drops.
SAFE BY DESIGN
No ads. No data collection. No chat and no strangers. No links leading out to the open internet. Nothing is gathered about your child, because nothing ever leaves the device.
REAL SCIENCE, CHECKED
Written for children without being dumbed down. The planets are drawn to real relative scale, the star map is astronomically correct, and the dinosaurs eat what the fossil record says they ate.
