It works for you right away, and for your neighbors once it's reviewed. - Rationing: what the plan says TODAY plus the latest AAA notices, word for word and with a link. If it's paused: since when, who said it, and the source. - Drought by town: the U.S. Drought Monitor for all 78 municipalities. Yours first. - Reservoirs: new connection to the USGS. If the USGS doesn't answer, you see the last reading with its time, never a blank screen. - Rain: the day's summary says what matters — "Rain from 2 to 6 pm" — instead of a lone word. And if your location is off, it tells you, instead of showing you another town's forecast. - Reporting a leak: the spot on the map is required. Before, if you didn't move it, a placeholder went in. Not anymore. - Fixed the rain-alerts switch that wouldn't turn on. No account, no names, no phone numbers. Rain over your watershed, whether it's your turn for water under the AAA plan, your reservoir's level (USGS, every 15 minutes), and open leaks. - Rain for the next hour minute by minute (radar) and the next six hours from the NWS, for where you are. - When the AAA pauses rationing, the app says so everywhere: every zone with service, with the reason and the source. - Your community: neighborhoods and condos where neighbors are already reporting show up in the app. One tap sends today's message to your group chat: the more people report, the louder we get. - Which reservoir supplies me? Gotea answers with evidence, sector by sector, and says plainly when it's AAA data and when it's only a suggestion by proximity. - A guided tour the first time you open Today, the Map, and Me, on the real screens, with your data. - A new design on every screen, clearer and faster to read. - The app lets you know when a new version is out. Gotea now tells you when it will rain. • Rain layer: the seven-day forecast over each reservoir's basin, with the millimeters each one gets. Tap a day and the map changes. • "When will it rain?": the answer in one sentence for your area, today and tomorrow hour by hour, and the week by time of day. For where you live or where you are. • Rain alerts: turn them on and we'll warn you a few minutes before rain starts where you are or where you live. At most three a day, never in the middle of the night. • Official flood alerts from the National Weather Service, with your place by name and the polygon on the map. • New layer selector with icons: Leaks, Rain and Service. The map no longer shifts when you switch layers. • Reservoir levels are still there: the ribbon at the top, the full list when you tap it, and each reservoir's ladder. Gotea is no longer just the leak map: it's the water map of Puerto Rico. SERVICE AAA's rationing plan, sector by sector, with who has water today and who doesn't. And what neighbors report: water arrived, arrived with low pressure, or never came. When the plan is paused, the map says so, with the date and the reason. OUTAGES If your neighborhood has been without water for days, declare it. The outage stays open until the water is back, and it shows on the map once three neighbors from the same place confirm it. Gotea documents how long it's been; it doesn't say whose fault it is. WHERE I LIVE Pick your subdivision, public housing, condominium or sector — just the name, never your address. With that, reporting your water status is one tap. If your place isn't on the list, propose it. RESERVOIRS The monitored reservoirs, with their USGS level and AAA's alert level, on the map and in a chart you can sort from worst to best.
