Sermon & Church Notes: Hearken
Bible Note Taker & Recorder
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Hearken records the sermon, transcribes every word, and writes clear, structured notes — so you can put the phone away and be present for the message. Recording and transcription are free.
RECORD WITHOUT WORRY
• One tap to record. Keeps recording with the screen locked or the app in the background.
• Pause and resume, with live controls on the Lock Screen.
• Your recording is protected — even if the phone dies mid-service, Hearken offers to finish the note the next time you open it.
EVERY WORD, WRITTEN DOWN
• Transcription happens on your iPhone. Your audio is never uploaded and never leaves your device.
• The full text stays one tap away, right next to your notes.
NOTES THAT FEEL HAND-CRAFTED
• Moments after the service: an overview, the main ideas, applications, and every passage cited.
• Choose the style — sermon, Bible study, devotional, or your own custom outline — plus the length and the sections that matter to you.
• Notes can be written in more than 60 languages.
SCRIPTURE, ONE TAP AWAY
• Every reference in your notes is a link. Tap it to read the verses on the spot.
• A complete Bible is built in — six public-domain translations, in English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese and Korean — readable and searchable without leaving the app.
GO DEEPER
• Ask questions about the message and get answers drawn from the sermon itself.
• Upload an audio file or a PDF and turn it into notes the same way.
YOURS, FOR GOOD
• Folders, favorites, and fast search.
• Notes sync privately through iCloud across your devices.
• Export notes as PDF, Word, or text — and export the audio too.
