Chatwell is a private AI assistant that runs on your iPhone. After a one-time setup, use it offline for writing, explaining, summarizing, translating, and everyday questions.
PRIVATE AI ON YOUR IPHONE
Chatwell generates its answers on your phone, not on a server. There is no account to create and no analytics in the app. Your chats are stored on your iPhone, encrypted and left out of device backups, and you can delete them from Settings.
A reply leaves your phone only if you choose to send it: by sharing it, or by reporting it to us by email.

Start from a suggested prompt or type your own. Chatwell remembers earlier messages in the conversation, so you can ask follow-up questions.
WORKS OFFLINE AFTER SETUP
Setup needs an internet connection once, and Wi-Fi is easiest. On iPhones without Apple Intelligence, Chatwell downloads the model it needs and shows you the size before it starts. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence turned on, Chatwell uses Apple's built-in on-device model instead, so there is no chat model to download; a smaller file for tools like the calculator still downloads in the background over Wi-Fi.
Once setup is complete, normal conversations run on your iPhone and work without Wi-Fi or mobile data.

MADE TO BE COMFORTABLE
Choose a larger text size in Settings and see each size before you pick it. Have any reply read aloud. Tell Chatwell your name and how you'd like it to talk, and it will answer that way.
KNOW ITS LIMITS
Chatwell generates answers from its built-in model instead of checking live sources. Answers may be wrong or out of date, especially for recent events, exact names, numbers, and dates. Verify information that matters. Do not rely on Chatwell for medical, legal, or financial decisions.
