The app opens again on iPhones running iOS 18. Signing in during setup no longer gets stuck on a loading screen, and a suggested username that is already taken is replaced automatically.

A clearer subscription screen, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan for eligible users. Clearer keyboard setup, with a page for choosing Espiga by holding the globe key, and a reminder 10 minutes later and once more the next day if setup isn’t finished. Improved keyboard long-press behavior and accessibility, plus stability fixes.

A clearer start, with updated demos and easier-to-read subscription options. Espi Mirror and Espi Remix appear at the right moments in your keyboard again. Lower keyboard memory use, plus typing and stability improvements. The app now distinguishes recommended updates from required updates.

Espiga got lighter behind the scenes. • Leaderboard, profile and challenges refresh at the right moment: when you open the app and after every game. • Your progress syncs with fewer round trips, and your points still show up instantly. • Fewer network connections: the app uses less data. • Portuguese: the interface now speaks Brazilian Portuguese. • More stable when lots of people are playing at once.

Your keyboard shows your sentence in the language you’re learning, at the right moment. • Espi Mirror: pause on a sentence and see it in the language you’re learning. Keep a word, or use the translation in your message. • Translation on your iPhone first: on iOS 26, with the language pack, Remix and Mirror translate offline and nothing leaves your phone. • One invitation at a time, never while you type: Mirror when you hesitate, Remix after you send, Sprint when you have a moment. • Much better English typing: capitals (I, Monday, iPhone), contractions, texting words left as typed, and better predictions. • Clearer Settings, and review meanings always in your language. • Fixed: getting your progress back on a new iPhone after signing in with Apple.

A keyboard that lasts, even in the apps where you open it fifty times. • The keyboard no longer reloads its typing engine on every appearance: it stays light through long conversations instead of being shut down by iOS. • A clear message when Apple briefly rate-limits sign-in, instead of a failure with no explanation.

A French keyboard that learns you, and a setup that shows instead of tells. • French autocorrection reworked on real conversations: fewer unwanted changes, texting slang left alone. • The apostrophe right on the French keyboards (AZERTY, QWERTY, QWERTZ). • New onboarding: short recordings of the real keyboard, watched once. • A much lighter app: languages install after setup. • Espi Remix asks for your consent once; your stats refresh as soon as the keyboard closes.

Your words become a playground. Discover a new Espiga with short challenges, badges and a leaderboard. • Build sentences with Espi Combo, correct them with Espi Fix and transform them with Espi Switch. • Earn points through reviews, missions and Espi Sprint. • Follow your progress with badges, records and a vocabulary map. • Keep your profile and learning progress with Sign in with Apple. • A clearer keyboard setup and an interface in English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.

Espiga now speaks your language from the first launch. • Spanish, Italian and Portuguese interfaces join English and French, following your iPhone language. • Keyboard typing and suggestions are now available in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. • Shorter onboarding: choose your level and select multiple motivations. • A clearer daily plan, with an animated four-step introduction. • A visual guide to enabling Espiga and Full Access, then choosing your keyboard with the globe.

Introducing Espi Remix: rebuild the translation of a short sentence, word by word, right inside your keyboard. Online translation happens only after you agree. • Learn English, Italian and Portuguese alongside Spanish. • Magic Sprint is now Espi Sprint, and Magic Remix is now Espi Remix. • A refreshed welcome flow, an eight-question placement test and a personalized vocabulary goal. • Optional French and English reminders tailored to your learning journey. • Native rating requests after meaningful use of the app. • More resilient best-streak storage and onboarding fixes.

Magic Sprint is now in the keyboard: chain correct answers, power up the flame, and beat your best streak. Also in this update: • smoother emoji browsing; • faster accent selection; • your best sprint streak on the home screen; • a new update checker in Settings; • support for iOS 18; • stability and performance improvements.

Espiga 1.1 brings a faster bilingual keyboard, smarter corrections, full emoji search, an 8-question placement test and a redesigned onboarding with a limited 14-day launch pass.
