MiniFirewall is a simple firewall for Mac that shows every website your apps connect to, and blocks any of them with one click. It never interrupts you with pop-up questions: nothing is blocked until you choose to block it. It collects no data, and has no ads and no AI.
WHO IT IS FOR
People who want to see what their apps send, and stop the parts they object to, without learning network settings or answering alerts. Set it up once, then look whenever you are curious.
IT NEVER INTERRUPTS YOU
MiniFirewall never asks you to approve or deny a connection. There are no permission pop-ups, no alerts when a new app connects, and no notifications. Nothing is blocked until you add a block yourself, so there is nothing for it to interrupt you about.
WHAT YOU SEE
• Every website and app your computer connects to, in one readable list
• Grouped, so an app that contacted the same website four hundred times is one line with a count
• Names you recognize, not addresses and numbers
• A filter that hides the system's own traffic, so you can find your apps
• The list holds still while you are reading it
WHAT YOU CAN BLOCK
• A website, including everything underneath it
• An app, including one that has never run yet
• A background program, including servers running on your own computer
• An address, or a whole range of them
• Outgoing connections, incoming connections, or both
Blocking one website is usually better than blocking a whole app. The app keeps working, and only the thing you objected to stops.
Pause any block without deleting it, or pause all protection for 15 minutes or an hour from the menu bar.
BUILT TO FAIL SAFELY
If anything unexpected happens inside MiniFirewall, it lets the connection through rather than blocking it. A firewall that blocks by mistake can leave you offline with no way to search for help. A bug should cost you one block, never your internet.

• Your traffic record stays on this computer, is deleted after 7 days, and you can erase it at any moment
• A problem report is sent only if you send it yourself, from your own email

Apple handles purchases, renewals and updates through the App Store. We would rather say that plainly than claim the app talks to nobody.
SUBSCRIPTION
MiniFirewall needs a yearly subscription. One plan unlocks everything: seeing your traffic and blocking. There is no trial and there are no feature tiers. The subscription renews each year until you cancel, which you can do at any time in your Apple Account settings. If it ends, your blocks are kept and you can still see your traffic. Blocking returns as soon as you renew.
REQUIREMENTS
macOS 13 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. MiniFirewall installs a system extension, which you approve during setup. The guide at minifirewall.ex-port.club/help/ shows exactly which buttons to press.

- Traffic Events shows where each connection went (a house for your local network) and can filter by local network or internet. Bonjour and device-discovery addresses are named in plain English.
- A warning before you block something your Mac depends on: software updates, app safety checks, Bonjour, AirPlay, AirDrop, Apple's own addresses or your whole network. Still allowed, now clearly flagged.
