IMPORT WITHOUT SENDING ANYTHING Paste a recipe address, or browse your country's sites from inside the app. Your iPhone reads the page itself: neither the address, nor the content, nor the recipe leaves the device. It is free, and it is what happens with most recipes. COOK HANDS-FREE One step per screen, in large type. Move on by voice, from your headphones, from the Apple Watch, or by tapping the edge of the screen. A step's timer starts on its own. THE AMOUNTS FOLLOW YOUR TABLE Change the number of people and everything is worked out again — except what does not divide. A pinch stays a pinch, a tin stays a tin, and the app tells you rather than pretending. REPLACE WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE No mascarpone? The app offers a checked substitute and tells you what it changes about the taste. And the mixer shows what you can cook from what is already in your cupboards.
