Your first finished piece is on us, at full quality. When you want more, Voicepen Pro now starts with a 14-day free trial — yearly or monthly.

Thanks for using Voicepen. This update refreshes how Voicepen is described in the App Store; the app works the same as 1.2.0, including the four home-screen designs in Settings > Home screen.

Pick the home screen that fits you. Open Settings, then Home screen, and choose from four designs: • Editorial desk: your recent notes on the desk, notebooks on a shelf • Midnight studio: one big mic on a dark ground • Dashboard: streak, open loops, today's question, and notebooks as tiles • Journal: everything you've written, newest first, with the mic at your thumb Every design has the same features. Switch any time.

Support requests now go to our new company address, so we can answer you faster. No other changes.

A calmer, more polished home screen. • Your three most recent notes sit on the desk, newest on top • Notebooks line up on a shelf you scroll sideways • Open loops show at a glance, in red when something is overdue • Brainstorm, New from text, and Import moved into the + menu • Driving mode has been removed

Voicepen now keeps track of what you said. • Open loops — promises and to-dos from every note in one list. A later note that says it's done closes the loop for you • Dictate into existing notes — "add to the Henderson proposal that delivery moves to March" edits that note. Undo is one tap • You changed this — a budget, date, or owner that no longer matches an earlier note gets flagged on both (Pro) • Ghostwriter — one question a day, read aloud. Your spoken answers become a memoir, a manual, or a book • Interviews — prep sheet, a full record of the interview, coach's notes, a study list, and a thank-you note • On-device transcription on iOS 26 — the recording never leaves your iPhone • Recordings that failed while offline or during an outage now finish by themselves

See how your notes connect. • Map: every entry becomes a dot, joined by what was made from what, the people and projects they share, and the subjects you keep returning to. Tap a dot to open it, or explore two hops around it. • Tags: each dictation is tagged as it comes in (the project, the people, the place). Older entries get tagged in one tap. • Connections on every entry, plus links you add yourself. • Send to Obsidian now carries properties and [[wikilinks]], and any notebook exports as an Obsidian folder. • Export everything to a single backup, and restore it on a new phone. Also new since 1.0: • Writing style: tone, length, strong-language handling, and output language. • Version history with a word-level diff and one-tap restore. • Driving mode, share text from any app, Live Activity on the lock screen, live transcript preview, Apple Watch capture. • Template gallery, stats and streaks, PDF and Word export. • A free session renews every week after the trial. Fixes: very long recordings process reliably, and a follow-up dictation on an existing entry now gets its reminders too.
