iPhone
Checks your passport photo against the official rules on your iPhone. Free to check; one payment to save, no subscription. UK and Ireland online, Australia print.
Complyshot checks a passport or visa photo against the official rules for your document, on your iPhone, and tells you exactly what to fix before you submit.
- US passport and US visa / DV lottery: an exact 600×600 file under the size limit, plus a 2×2 in print sheet.
- UK and Ireland online applications: keeps the whole photo, head, shoulders and upper body, because both passport services crop it themselves and ask you not to.
- Australia passport and Schengen visa: makes a true-size 10×15 cm print sheet that any photo kiosk prints for cents.
- Canada: passport photos must come from a commercial photographer, and Complyshot says so instead of selling you one.
How it works: pick your document, have someone take the photo with the rear camera (or use the 3-second timer on your own), or import one. Complyshot measures head size, framing, focus, lighting and background on your iPhone, then shows one verdict and a plain fix for anything that fails. Rules a camera cannot verify, like glasses glare, are listed for you to check.
Price: checking is free, so you see whether your photo passes first. Saving the finished photo is a one-time purchase that covers every document, unlimited retakes and your family through Family Sharing. No subscription, no ads, no account. If you installed before version 1.1, saving stays free.
Privacy: your photo is checked on your iPhone and never uploaded. Complyshot is not affiliated with any government and cannot guarantee acceptance; each document links to its official rules.
