- The On This Day heatmap is larger and clearer, so you no longer need the magnifying glass to read it. - Notifications no longer pop up when you don't need them. - Bug fixes and stability improvements. - iPad version added

This is a big one. Rewind is here, Photo Quiz is coming, duplicates are easier to review, large libraries should feel much faster, and we have made a lot of smaller changes across the app. Before the usual list, two shout-outs. Josh, Rewind is here because you asked for it. You can now go back to any date, see that day across different years, pin days that matter with reminders, and clean up the duplicates and screenshots from that day in one go. And cleohigh, your 120,000-photo library made us massively overhaul the photo library engine. We still cannot promise that managing 120,000 photos does not require some god-level skills, but Keepr should handle very large libraries much better now. Hopefully we can turn that 1 star into at least a 4 star. Also new: Photo Quiz Runs from 9 October to 8 November, with 10, 20 or 30-photo rounds, lifelines and trophies. Day collages Create a collage with up to six photos, labels, a caption and a border. Better date handling Photos now stay on the day they were taken based on the time zone you were in at the time. Faster with big libraries A lot of work has gone into making Keepr handle large libraries better. Full-screen swipe deck Tap to move through photos and pinch to zoom. Optional reminders Pin days that matter and get reminded. Never more than one reminder a day. Trophy pop-ups Because apparently quietly unlocking them was not enough. Live Photos Convert them to video or GIF. Albums Move photos between albums directly in Keepr. Finding things Largest First sorting is now available, and filters carry into Month and Year views. Duplicates Duplicates now open like any other collection, and groups start appearing while the scan is still running. A fresh look New glass buttons, and Bin is now called Pending, which makes much more sense because nothing is actually deleted until you confirm it. And fixes Stuck thumbnails, date ranges, missing translations and a few other things that were getting on our nerves.

Less clutter. More room for your next memory. Keepr now finds duplicate photos by comparing the images themselves, all on your device. Scan when you're ready, review the matches and decide which copies to keep. Picking up where you left off is easier, too. See how much space you've freed, what's left to review and jump straight to your next unreviewed photo. Changed your mind about a photo? The redesigned Bin puts its details and Restore button within easy reach. As always, nothing is deleted until you confirm. You'll also find your Selfies and Portraits together in Collections, along with Shared Albums to browse. And with a new look, clearer first-time guidance, more accurate storage totals and fixes for stuck thumbnails and unresponsive filters, your next cleanup should feel smoother from start to finish.

Our biggest update yet. Here's what's changed. Compress photos and videos Shrink large files without losing a thing. Choose the format, resolution and quality, and Keepr saves a smaller copy first. You decide separately whether to remove the original. See your photos on a map Tap the globe in Collections to see every located photo plotted on a real, spinnable 3D globe. Browse by month A new grouped view for working through your library month by month, with day-by-day sections and one-tap mark-as-reviewed. Play videos and Live Photos without leaving the deck Tap to play, tap to mute, right on the card. Track your activity A new Full Stats screen shows your review history, storage saved and favorite locations at a glance. Find things faster Filter your library by Kept, Pending or Optimized, each with its own badge. Share straight from a card A share button now sits on every photo and video, so there's no need to open it first. A guide for when you need it Find "How to Use Keepr" in Settings any time: a full tour of every feature, start to finish. Also in this update - Undo more than one swipe in a session - See your total library storage in Settings - A sharper, more consistent look across every tab - Dozens of fixes, including Live Photo playback, crash fixes and layout polish Thank you for using Keepr. As always, tell us what you'd like next.

Your Collections got a caffeine IV. Scrolling through your photo collections no longer feels like watching paint dry. You're welcome. Undo doesn't freeze the app anymore. Turns out hitting "undo" mid-swipe was basically asking the app to solve a Rubik's Cube while falling down stairs. We taught it to multitask. The tab bar now minimizes politely instead of just hogging the screen like an uninvited houseguest. First launch is smoother, because nobody wants their first date with an app to start with an awkward stumble.

Keepr now speaks 16 languages. Alongside English: Turkish, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Indonesian, Arabic, Hindi and Russian. Keepr follows your phone's language automatically, or you can pick a different one in Settings. STREAKS AND TROPHIES Clean regularly and Keepr tracks your streak. Hit milestones for photos deleted, storage freed or big clear-out sessions and you'll start unlocking trophies, up to the rarest one: Ultimate Keepr. PINCH TO ZOOM ANY GRID See as many or as few photos at a glance as you like. Pinch any grid in the app, from 2 photos a row up to 7. It's the same setting everywhere, and it remembers what you picked.

Turns out "it works on my phone" is not a testing strategy. Thanks to the friends who found that out for me. This release fixes a handful of UI and UX problems I should have caught myself.

A few bigger changes this time: - Marked-for-deletion photos are now easier to spot. No more “wait, was I keeping that?” - Filters now remember your choice. Revolutionary, we know. - Collections is here. Favourites, albums and trips, all in one place. - Light, Dark or Auto. Keepr now matches your preferred look. - One heart, everywhere. Favourite in Keepr and it’s favourited in Photos too.
