A teleprompter that follows your voice instead of a timer. Pause and it waits. Go off script and it finds your place again. SmartPrompt is a teleprompter that follows your voice. Read your script aloud and the words move with you. Pause, and it waits. Go off script to answer a question, and it finds your place when you come back. There is no timer to fight and no scroll speed to guess. Recognition runs entirely on your Mac. Your voice never leaves the machine, and the app works with no network at all. WRITE OR IMPORT Open a .txt, .md, .rtf, .docx or .pdf file, or paste your words in. Format with Markdown: bold, italic, headings and lists. Keep every script in one place, and rename, duplicate or delete any of them. The app reopens the script you had open, and offers you the word you stopped on. READ The presenter opens in a window of its own, so your editor stays beside it. Set how far ahead of your voice the cue runs. Move the reading line up the screen so your eyes stay near the lens. Jump between headings with the arrow keys. Click any word to pick up from there. SET IT UP YOUR WAY Mirror the text left to right, or top to bottom, for a teleprompter glass. Choose the highlight style and colour, and how far the words you have read are dimmed. Four faces to read from, at any size. Pick your microphone, and the app tells you when it hears nothing. Keep the window above the others, and hide it from screen sharing. SmartPrompt follows English. It needs a Mac with Apple Silicon.
