Fixes for the phone and for CarPlay. Mute now means silent in the car. The speaker button steps through voice, camera chime only, and off. On CarPlay, Back returns to the list you picked a place from. Ending a trip can be undone, and a stop can be skipped. A trip started on your phone now appears on a car screen that's already connected. If a reroute fails or the GPS signal drops, the screen says so. Driving past a stop you missed no longer drops it from the trip. On the phone, the distance to the next turn is correct again after you leave the route and rejoin it. The app now notices when you're driving the route the wrong way and reroutes. On a road your route uses twice, guidance stays on the leg you're driving, with the screen on or off. If the speed limit lookup fails as a trip starts, the app tries again. Canceling an offline map download right after starting it no longer leaves it stuck.

CarPlay has been reworked after test drives on a real car screen. Say where to: open Destinations in CarPlay, tap "Say where to" and speak a place. Your phone turns the speech into text. The audio stays on the phone. A new car map with day and night colors, bigger street names and less clutter. The route preview now frames the whole trip beside the route card. Clearer turns. Highway exits read like the sign, the next road shows under "Then", and the speed limit sits beside your speed. Route choices lead with the drive time and the camera count. Search puts nearby places first, understands airport codes like DCA, and lists gas stations nearest first. Camera warnings count down to the camera. A block of street cameras is one warning instead of several. The CarPlay Dashboard has Home and Work buttons. Unplug in the middle of a trip and it's waiting on your phone, one tap from Start. Plug back in and it picks up in the car. Fixed: the position arrow no longer wanders while you're parked. The camera count on a route preview now matches the count once you start driving.

FlockDetour now works with Apple CarPlay. Your car's screen shows the camera map and lets you choose a Fastest, Balanced or Fewer cameras route. Turn-by-turn directions warn you when a known camera is ahead. There's also a map in the CarPlay Dashboard. The fastest-route preview is now free on your phone and in CarPlay. It shows the route line, drive time, distance and known cameras along it. Turn-by-turn directions and the Balanced and Fewer cameras modes are part of FlockDetour Pro. Also new: Agencies. Look up agencies that publish a Flock Safety transparency portal and see how long each one keeps plate data. Fixed: FlockDetour no longer waits for the map to find you before routing. And text no longer gets cut off anywhere in the app.
