Nivo Care for Caregivers is where you build a profile once and then apply to care work near where you already live. It is free. All the way through: joining, your profile, the ID check, the background check, applying, and getting hired. THE WORK YOU CAN TAKE • Child care — babysitting, after school, the school run • Senior care — company, errands, help around the day • Special needs — experience that is asked about, not assumed • Tutoring — homework, a subject that has gone quiet, exams • Housekeeping — the house kept, so the evening is theirs • Pet care — walks, sitting, the days they are away WHO PAYS FOR WHAT Worth being blunt about, because most places in this market are not. The family pays. Families pay a subscription to message caregivers. That is the only thing Nivo charges for, and it is charged to them. You set your rate. Your hourly rate is yours to choose and yours to change. You are paid directly by the family, at the rate you agreed. The money does not pass through Nivo, so nothing is deducted and nobody takes a cut of your hours. BEING CHECKED IS YOUR ADVANTAGE An ID check and a background check sit on your profile as badges with the month each was done. They are the first thing a family looks for, and both are free to you. The background check is one you request and consent to. Nothing is run without you asking for it. HOW IT WORKS 1. Build your profile — the care you do, where you can work, when you are available, what you charge. 2. Get verified, once. Both checks are free and both show on your profile. 3. Apply to work near you. Jobs posted nearby come to you, and families searching your area can find you directly. WE ARE EARLY, AND WE WOULD RATHER SAY SO Nivo Care is new, and in some areas there are not many jobs posted yet. The app shows you exactly what is actually there — we do not pad the list, and we do not invent postings to make it look busier than it is. Looking for care rather than for work?
