Preparing for your ACS CCN1 Gas Assessment ?
This app takes you from first revision to exam-ready and it's kept up to date with the latest gas-safety regulations, so you're always revising from the right material. Built around a full question bank covering every topic you'll be tested on, with four ways to learn:
- Study Mode — work through questions with instant feedback and clear explanations, so you learn as you go.
- Flashcards — quick-fire recall for key facts, classifications and figures, perfect for spare moments.
- Practice Mode — test yourself at your own pace, target your weak areas and track your progress.
- Mock Exam — a realistic timed test that mirrors the real assessment, so there are no surprises on the day.
Kept current
Gas-safety guidance changes, and out-of-date revision material is one of the most common complaints from candidates. This app is reviewed against current standards and reflects recent updates, including:
* IGEM/G/11 (Unsafe Situations Procedure) — updated to the latest amendments, including the current ID/AR classifications and RIDDOR reporting criteria.
* Gas quality (GS(M)R) — the revised Wobbe number requirements that took effect in April 2025.
* IGEM/UP/1B Edition 4 (tightness testing and purging) — content prepared for the new edition, which becomes the applicable standard on 1 October 2026.
* Current British Standards referenced throughout, including BS 5440-1/-2:2023.
Whether you're a new entrant or an experienced engineer brushing up before reassessment, you can revise knowing you're working from the right material.
