Table Kendo turns the tactical reading of kendo into a turn-based duel.
Every exchange is a single decision. Read the opening your opponent shows, commit to one strike, and land the Ki-Ken-Tai timing. Misread the opening and a stronger technique cuts through yours. Miss the timing and a clean opening comes to nothing.
ONE EXCHANGE, ONE DECISION
Choose from Men, Kote, Do, Tsuki, Defend, or Feint. Every move spends stamina, and stamina moves only when you act, never when you are hit. Spend it badly and the next exchange turns against you.
MATCHUPS DECIDE THE EXCHANGE
Men beats Kote, Kote beats Do, Do beats Men. Tsuki enters with advantage over every attack, but it costs the most stamina and breaks your posture if it fails. When both fighters choose the same technique, execution alone decides it.
KI-KEN-TAI TIMING
Attacks are judged across three stages: Ki, Ken, and Tai. Tap as the ring closes toward the center to reach the Good or Perfect window. A Perfect defense deflects the strike completely and restores stamina.
PASSIVE PLAY IS PENALIZED
Repeated defense and feints are judged as passive play. Twice in a row draws a caution. Three times in a row brings a warning and hands a point to your opponent. You cannot win by waiting.
RANKS AND THE HALL OF FAME
Start at 7 kyu and climb the kyu and dan grades as you win. Your record is kept on the server, so it follows you to a new device.

Duel someone on the same network, device to device.
