True-peak limiter, as an OPTION that is never on by default: in Convert (R128 mode), in the Recorder and Player normalisation (RMS and LUFS-I modes), and in the Multitrack stereo render when the mix exceeds -1 dBTP. Look-ahead brickwall (5 ms), 4x oversampling, 100 ms release, smoothed gain curve, channel-linked, then target catch-up: files land on -23 LUFS with true peaks held at -1 dBTP (verified against ffmpeg). - Without the option nothing changes: fixed gain, and if the true peak would exceed the ceiling the gain is reduced (the log says so). - Convert module (since 1.9.139): drop WAV/MP3/MP2/AAC/FLAC/AIFF or video files, get WAV 16/24/32-float, MP3, AAC, raw MP2 or MP2-in-WAV (Digas) with peak or R128 normalisation. File details show as soon as a file is added; AIFF files open everywhere.

New Convert module: drop audio files (WAV, MP3, MP2, AAC, FLAC, OGG, AIFF) or videos (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV - audio track only), one at a time or as a batch, and get them back in the format you need: WAV 16/24/32-bit float, MP3, AAC, raw MP2, or MP2 inside WAV (Digas / broadcast playout). Each file keeps its name in a "convert" sub-folder next to the original. - Normalise on the way: peak (dBFS) or R128 loudness (LUFS) with a true-peak ceiling - fixed gain, no limiter. Exact BS.1770-4 measurement. - Presets: Digas (MP2 256 kbit/s, 48 kHz), WAV 24/48, WAV 24/96, MP3 320, AAC 256. - File details (format, sample rate, channels, duration, size) appear as soon as a file is added. - Protected folders (Desktop, Documents, Downloads, external drives): the app asks you to allow the folder, then creates the "convert" sub-folder inside it. - AIFF files now open everywhere (Player, Convert). - Fix: the MP2 fallback decoder no longer accepts non-MPEG data (an unreadable WAV could play back as noise).

Line test fixes, reported by users: • The 1 kHz tone could start silent on the first channel tested — fixed. • L+R came out 3 dB lower than L or R alone. The reference level is now identical across all three tests, and the identification sequence announces the right level (-9 dBFS on each channel). • The announcement selector (voice / beeps) now actually applies to the channel buttons: in "beeps" mode the cue pattern goes to the selected output instead of the computer's own speakers. English interface: button labels no longer switch back to French when you operate a control.

MP2: plays MPEG Layer II files (.mp2), the broadcast standard, including Layer II wrapped in a broadcast WAV. Decoding goes through the system codec, so it is exact. Multitrack: a window to name every track at once, with CSV import and export. Multitrack: Dante label import — the app asks the local Dante Virtual Soundcard what each input is subscribed to and copies that label into the track name, one track or all at once. Multitrack: Bessel 18 dB/oct low cut alongside the 24 dB/oct one. Multitrack: multichannel cards now show all of their inputs and outputs on Windows. Player: Space starts playback and, pressed again, moves to the next track; Enter is play/pause; up and down arrows change track. Player: in single-track mode, the chain point no longer starts the next track. Player: clicking a marker places the playback cursor — drag it to move it.
