Sign in and every snippet in your TextExpander library works on your iPhone and iPad, in any app you type in. A TextExpander account is required.
Your TextExpander snippets, on your iPhone and iPad.
Sign in with your TextExpander account to access your snippet library at your fingertips. Type ";addr" to expand to your mailing address. Type "zcal" to expand to a link to your schedule / availability. You can type it in Messages, in Mail, in Slack, in your CRM, in your EHR. You get the idea. Your shared snippets are readily synced with the rest of your team.
A KEYBOARD WITH SNIPPETS, SWIPE, EMOJI, AND AUTOCORRECT
Swipe across the keys, and TextExpander now matches your path to English words and to your abbreviations. Swiped abbreviations automatically expand to their snippets. Plus you have everything else that you'd expect in a keyboard: Autocorrect, emojis (searchable by name, with skin tones, and recents), long-press for accented characters, one-handed mode, haptic feedback, and undo/redo.
SNIPPETS THAT COME TO YOU
Start typing, and matching snippets appear in the suggestion strip beside your word suggestions. Tap it to expand it. You never need to go looking.
PERSONALIZE AND CUSTOMIZE WHAT YOU TYPE
Fill-ins give superpowers to your TextExpander snippets, and they work in the app as well. Type the abbreviation, complete your fill-ins, and send.
WHAT YOU NEED
A TextExpander account, created at textexpander.com. Then add the keyboard in Settings and switch on Full Access (TextExpander needs this to read your abbreviations and insert your snippets).
Your snippets now work everywhere you type.
I installed the updated iOS app and I cannot find any way to edit or directly access my snippets in the app. It installed separately fromthe existing version on my phone, which should have been my first clue. In the previous version I was able to view and ddit my snippets, just like on the desktop app. I foolishly deleted the old app, thinking I was just missing something. It appears that I was not actually missing something, but NOW I am. I can no longer see or edit my snippets on my phone.Had I known beforehand that the new app doesn’t have that capability anymore, I would not have installed it. Beware if you don’t want to lose that functionality.I have been a longtime used of TextExpander. I’m not ditching the app, but that was a disappointment.

Save me time
Charmed Queen
Some might say, why do you need an app like this? I already have templates and copy/paste. This just seems like another tool to manage. And that’s where you are wrong. The power of TextExpander is it takes every form of communication you do and puts it into one central location. Need to send a customer response? Done. Need to share a marketing link or blog? Say no more. Constantly sending the same text to your clients? Well now you don’t have to search through a thousand messages for the last time you sent it. I love getting the weekly stats email because I know that TextExpander has saved me more time beyond even that. It is truly the death to copy/paste. Best tool I spend money on as a small business owner by far 🙌🙌
Love it but

So excited to see this app come on the App Store but no "add snippet" button.

Promising but not there
Randomly selected
I was excited to see this released for the iPhone. Unfortunately, it is somewhat buggy. I find that it interferes with dictation. Also, it insists on making itself the default keyboard. Hopefully a later version will be ready for prime time.
