Your daily recap got a glow-up. Today's score now shines in a ring of colours from all four games, and each game shows up in its own colour as you play it. A nicer way to end the day.

Finishing a puzzle feels better now: The result card pops in when the game ends, and its colour shows how you did. When you win, stars burst out and then keep gently glowing. If you use very large text sizes, the stars step aside so the text stays easy to read.

Guess the Year now gives you five tries instead of four — more room to narrow down a century one nudge at a time. Your standing sits on the home screen: today's points, this week's and your longest streak, each a tap away from the full board. The end-of-day recap shows today's placing too. Sharing your day is a proper card now — your total, every game's attempts and the points each one earned, drawn as a single image. Guess the Flag is calmer to play. Suggestions float above the flag instead of pushing it around while you type, and a wrong guess shows the flag you mistook it for. Also: today's puzzles appear right away at launch, and everything fits on the smallest iPhones.

Quick Games is on your Home Screen. Four new widgets keep your day one glance away. Pick today's points, this week's points or your current streak in the small size, or add the medium widget to see your whole week at a glance. If you'd like a nudge, Quick Games can now remind you in the evening. At 7 pm, if today's puzzles are still waiting, you'll get a gentle note, and nothing at all on days you've already played.
