LANtern is a fast, native companion for WatchYourLan, the self-hosted network monitoring tool. Keep an eye on every device on your LAN from your iPhone or iPad: see who's online, spot newcomers instantly, and manage your hosts without opening a browser.
REQUIRES A WATCHYOURLAN SERVER
LANtern is a client app: you'll need a WatchYourLan instance running on your network (free and open source). Point LANtern at its address and you're set. Self-signed certificates and multiple servers are supported.
YOUR NETWORK AT A GLANCE
• Live host list with online status, vendor, and last-seen time
• Search by name, IP, MAC, or vendor
• Filter by interface, online/offline, and known/unknown
• Sort by name, IP, vendor, last seen, and more
• New devices on your network are automatically highlighted and pinned! Nothing sneaks past you :)
• Stale devices (configurable delay) can optionally be flagged to clean up your database

• Rich detail pages: IP, MAC, DNS, vendor, interface, and status
• Per-day connection history as a color-coded scan grid
• At-a-glance uptime bar with time-weighted uptime percentage
