Chessling 2.0 is a new way into chess, built around one short visit a day with Sage the owl. • The Path. Each day has one visit: a new idea, then a game with it. One big Go button starts it, and Sage says "See you tomorrow!" when it is done. (Want more? A quiet "Play more" is there.) • Learn one piece at a time. Rook, bishop, queen, king, knight, pawn, and "Is it safe?" Each has short lessons, a mini-game and a test. • Two ways to start. New to chess? Begin with the pieces. Already know how they move? Take the first piece test and go straight to games and puzzles. • One Help, everywhere. Tap Help for a clue, again to see where to look, and again for "Show me". Your child always makes the move. It works the same in lessons, puzzles and games. • Hold a button to hear it. Press and hold any button and Sage says what it does. • Games are saved. Leave a game and pick it up later, even after closing the app. Leaving is never counted as a loss. • Puzzles count one at a time. Every puzzle your child solves counts, not just a finished round. • Free play opens when the lessons are done, or from the start for a child who already knows the moves. Grown-ups can open it any time in Parent Corner. • A new look. Soft clouds, floating islands and a friendlier board. • Warm-ups. A visit can start with a quick puzzle or two from things your child found tricky. • A new Me tab. One island that grows as your child learns, with stickers on a notice board and trophies on a shelf. Coins and the shop are retired; anything your child already owns stays theirs. All lessons, puzzles and friendly games are free. One optional purchase, "Open the Whole Park", opens the Champions Ladder rungs 9 to 20 and the Boss Shows on islands 3 to 8. If you have already bought it, you keep everything. Still no ads, no accounts and no tracking. Chessling is for children of about 6 to 10, and the game is in English.

New in 1.3.2: • VoiceOver now reads the question cards more clearly, including the shield and "What did their move aim at?" cards. • The Ladder shows more honest strengths for the toughest friends, near the top. • Small fixes and polish.

New in 1.3: - Learn from your own games — try your trickiest moment again, and Sage helps you name what happened. - Practice that fits you — the next day's puzzles focus on the moments you found tricky. - A smarter move helper — instead of just warning you, Sage asks you to spot the danger yourself, then steps back as you get better. - What did their move aim at? — Sage helps you watch the other player's plans. - Checkmate Practice on Island 8 — learn to catch a king that runs away. - For grown-ups: one simple question to ask tonight, in the Parent Corner. - Music now starts off, and plays softer when you turn it on.

The Play tab brings every way to play into one place, and the Champions Ladder now shows exactly where your child stands: a marker for their level, a flag for every climb, and a medal for each band they finish. Their park grows with them — new plots open up as the shelf fills, so an earned decoration always has somewhere to go. iPad gets a proper layout, the Sparkle Machine got its charms back where they belong, and dozens of screens were reworked to be kinder to young eyes.

My Park Corner is a real place now. Tap something on the shelf to plant it, watch Sparkle Charms light up the machine as islands are won, and spot what arrived since your last visit. The Champions Ladder now climbs to 20 rungs. Each opponent is a little sharper than the last, and a few of them still slip now and then, so there is always a mistake to pounce on. Sage the coach speaks every line in one warm voice, everywhere in the park. The Parent Corner is calmer, with a clearer learning journey and privacy page. Plus a tidier puzzle celebration, bigger tap targets, and smoother layouts at large text sizes.
