[What's New in Mimic] Thanks for using Mimic! This update brings a brand-new Apple Watch experience, along with several audio and stability improvements: • Brand-new Apple Watch app: record straight from your wrist, no phone needed. Turn the Digital Crown to pick a character voice, and your take travels to your iPhone to be converted and played back automatically. Up to 30 seconds per take. • Playback volume fix: converted audio used to come out quiet, and was often hard to hear at the system volume you normally leave the phone on. This release switches to a dedicated playback mode and brings the output up to a proper level, without dragging up the noise in a quiet recording. • Bluetooth microphone stays in sync: put on or take off your Bluetooth headset and the recording source and on-screen status update right away — no need to restart the app. • Faster to start recording: the delay and the haptic between pressing the button and actually capturing sound have been fixed, so press-and-speak feels immediate. • Lighter install and updates: the voice models now download once on first launch with visible progress, and app updates no longer re-download them. • Language changes apply instantly: switch your system language and the built-in character names follow along, without restarting the app. Update now and take Mimic with you — a new character is always one tap away.
