Chapters now end on a real decision, and the next one remembers the paths you didn't take. Purchases that are confirmed later — by a parent, by your bank, or after the app closed mid-payment — now go through on their own. Restore Purchases tells you plainly when there's nothing to restore. Messages now appear in your language, and a story that can't load (offline, say) shows Try again instead of waiting forever. VoiceOver now tells you when a new chapter is ready, and reading and your library hold up at the largest text sizes. If part of a translated chapter fails to translate, it's retried in the background instead of staying in English.

Chapter now remembers where you stopped. Put the phone away mid-chapter and it reopens at your place, marked “You stopped here”. Your library is split in two: stories you're reading on top, finished ones below. Reacting to a passage is easier: hold any paragraph and the options open right beneath it, with a Close button. Settings and Cancel are easier to read on iOS 27 in dark mode.

Chapter now tells you when something doesn't go through — a choice, a retry, a report or Restore Purchases — instead of staying silent. Subscribers can manage or cancel their plan straight from the app, and every button now responds when you press it. Works better with larger text sizes and screen readers. Reacting to a passage is easier to find and use. Hold any paragraph and your reactions now open right beneath it, with a Close button if you change your mind. A short hint points the way in your first few chapters. Settings and Cancel are easier to read on iOS 27 in dark mode, and leaving a story takes you straight back to your library. Ready for iOS 27.

Every chapter now ends with a choice. A few stories could stop at a question with nothing to pick — that's fixed, and stories already stuck there have their choices back. A calmer start: the app no longer flashes an empty library while it opens.

Chapter now speaks German, Italian, Spanish and French on the App Store — the stories and the app already did.

This release is mostly about reading comfort. Chapter now works with VoiceOver. Every story in your library, every chapter and every control can be reached, read aloud and acted on — including removing a story, which previously needed a swipe. Text follows your Dynamic Type setting properly. At the larger accessibility sizes, lines used to overlap; now the spacing grows with the type. Buttons and controls are bigger and easier to hit, and Reduce Motion is respected throughout. Your library now uses a large title, and chapters keep a comfortable line length in every window size.

Fixes and improvements: • The choices at the end of a chapter now follow what has actually happened in your story — no more options the plot has already ruled out. • Stories in your language no longer switch to English partway through. • When something can't load, the app now says so instead of waiting silently.

Fixed a screen you could get stuck on after picking a new story, and a case where the opening questions were asked a second time.
