New in Journey: Follow Jesus. One chapter of Mark a day: watch it, read it, answer one question, and close in prayer. The home screen now opens on Mark 1 (or wherever you last left off), and the chapter covers are sharper. Christmas is coming: Luke 1–2 and Matthew 1–2 are in production. You'll find them on the home screen now, and they'll play as soon as they're ready, with study guides, people and places. More verses from Mark on your Today card.

Chapters now play in full HD (1080p), and the picture no longer turns soft when your connection dips. Genesis 1, Mark 1 and all 78 short films are inside the app in sharper HD, so they start instantly and play offline from the moment you install. Watch once, keep it: a chapter is saved as it plays and opens instantly next time, even offline. On mobile data, you're told how much a chapter will use before it starts, or you can save it to download on Wi-Fi. Manage what's saved in Me › Downloaded films.

Season Two: the Gospel of Mark. Mark 1 is free and included in the app; Mark 2–9 are ready to watch, and new chapters of Mark now appear in the app as each film is finished, without an update. Walk through Mark in Explore: a timeline of the story, the people who met Jesus, the places, and a study guide for every episode. Playlists and repeat: make your own lists of films, shuffle them, and repeat one film or a whole list — it keeps playing with the screen locked. Genesis 1–11 has been re-edited: the words on screen as they're spoken, maps of the places, short notes on the people, and a recap at the end of each episode.
