270 original questions with worked explanations and 108 lessons mapped to ISACA's current CRISC outline, 1A to 4B. Works offline. One payment, no subscription. Locked In: Prep for CRISC is an offline study app for ISACA's Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control exam. It follows the exam content outline ISACA uses for exams from 3 November 2025, with its domain weights: Governance 26 percent, Risk Assessment 22 percent, Risk Response and Reporting 32 percent, Technology and Security 20 percent. WHAT IS INCLUDED 54 topics, written for this app and organized under the outline's 9 subdomains, 1A to 4B, so that each of the 43 numbered topic lines ISACA publishes has at least one lesson. 108 lessons, two per topic: one teaches the idea and one applies it to a case. 270 original practice questions, each with a worked explanation. 162 flashcards and 108 glossary entries. 16 interactive scenario activities, four per domain, using sorting, sequencing and matching. A timed practice form of 50 questions in 75 minutes, drawn in the published domain weights. Spaced repetition that brings back what you got wrong, progress by domain, bookmarks and search. HOW THE QUESTIONS ARE WRITTEN The questions ask which step comes first, who decides, what evidence supports a conclusion and which measure informs a decision. Every wrong option is written for its own question and describes the same situation as the answer, so you have to read the case to choose. Each explanation says why the answer is right and gives a separate reason for each wrong option. ANSWER ORDER AND ANSWER LENGTH Each question's options are dealt into a stable per-question order, so the answer sits in each position about equally often. Answer length is measured for each question type as well as across the whole bank: picking by length alone finds the answer in no more than 32 percent of any type's questions, against 25 percent for a blind guess, and the release check fails if a length rule climbs further. WHAT IS FREE 12 lessons, 12 questions, 12 flashcards, the 8 glossary entries that match those flashcards, and one scenario activity in each of the four domains. The free selection is fixed and spread across all four domains, so you can work in every domain before deciding whether to pay. Bookmarks, progress tracking and spaced review work in the free tier too. WHAT THE UNLOCK ADDS One payment, no subscription. It opens the full catalog: all 108 lessons, all 270 questions, all 162 flashcards, all 108 glossary entries, all 16 scenario activities, and the timed practice form. Restore Purchases is on the purchase screen and in Settings. PRIVACY The app has no network code of its own and works offline. Purchases and restores go through the App Store. There is no account and no sign-up. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your progress stays on your device. ABOUT THE EXAM The exam is 150 questions in 4 hours, and the pass mark is 450 on a 200 to 800 scale, according to ISACA's exam candidate guide. Holding the certification requires continuing professional education hours every year. Confirm current requirements with ISACA before you register. INDEPENDENT This app is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ISACA, and it contains no official questions, answer keys or courseware. CRISC and ISACA are trademarks of ISACA, used here only to say what the app studies. The app is not an exam simulation. It makes no score prediction and offers no pass guarantee.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

Version 1.1 maps every topic to ISACA's numbered CRISC outline (1A1 to 4B3) and adds 19 topics, so each topic line now has lessons: asset management, business continuity, threat modeling, the risk register, control frameworks, risk action plans, KCIs and KPIs, reporting formats, enterprise architecture, the SDLC, project and portfolio risk, IT operations, security frameworks, awareness training and privacy. The bank grows to 270 questions, and each wrong option now has its own written explanation. The glossary now follows the free flashcards. Quiz results that fail to save can be retried, and review sessions repeat cards you mark Again.
