Your child checks in on iPad. You see it on your phone. DayStar connects a child's daily routine with a parent's attention. The child simply finishes tasks and collects stars; the parent watches progress, sends encouragement and handles the exceptions — from their own phone. Each side can use its own Apple Account, and everything syncs through your own iCloud. For the child • Daily habits and weekly challenges that earn stars, redeemable for rewards you set • Today's classes and schedule at a glance • Mood check-ins and a daily note, with Apple Pencil handwriting • A celebration when the day is complete, and praise from parents appearing live Parent Console • See what's done today and exactly what's left • Send praise with one tap — it reaches the child's iPad immediately • Get notified when the day is fully complete, and reply straight from the notification • Child ill or away? Excuse a task: the day still counts as complete and reminders stay quiet • Forgot to check in? A parent can record it afterwards, stars included • Step back through any earlier day and that week's challenges Timetable and school calendar • School classes, the yearly school calendar and extracurriculars in one daily view • Holidays in the calendar automatically suspend that day's classes • Smart import from timetable PDFs, published timetable links and calendar subscriptions (Pro) For the whole family • Parent and child each keep their own Apple Account • Several parent devices, each with its own view • Each child gets a separate library, so tasks, stars and timetables never mix (Pro) Privacy • No account to create, no ads, no third-party analytics, no behavioural tracking • Data syncs through your own iCloud between your family's devices; the developer sees none of it • The parent passcode stays in the device keychain, never synced, set per device Free and Pro Lifetime Free includes 4 daily habits, 2 weekly challenges, one child, and multi-device sync on a single Apple Account. DayStar Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited tasks, multiple children, family sharing across Apple Accounts, and smart timetable import. Apple Family Sharing is supported, so one purchase covers everyone.

DayStar 2.0: the Parent Console is here! • Brand-new Parent Console (iPhone): watch your child's progress ring, today's check-in timeline and star balance in real time, and send love & praise that pops up on the child's iPad instantly. • Separate Apple Accounts for parent and child: the library is kept safely in the parent's iCloud, and the child's device joins via an invitation link. Check-ins reach the parent instantly; tasks, skips and rewards stay under parent control. Same-account two-device sync is still supported. • Multiple children: each child gets an independent library — tasks, stars and timetables never mix — with one-tap switching on the Parent Console (Pro Lifetime feature). • Care from anywhere: sick day or family trip? Skip today's tasks or mark a rest day right from the parent's phone — excused skips never count against completion, and reminders stay quiet. • Full timetable on the parent side: school classes, the yearly school calendar and extracurriculars merged into one daily view, with automatic holiday suspension. • Cloud push makes sync near-instant, and a new sync diagnostics panel makes any issue easy to spot. • Many refinements and stability improvements throughout. DayStar Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase with Apple Family Sharing — one purchase unlocks the whole family.
