We visit restaurants and hotels throughout the year, dining and staying anonymously and independently. We look beyond reputation and accolades, focusing on the experience as a whole: the food, the service, the atmosphere, the hospitality, the rooms, and the feeling you take away with you.
NOT JUST THE USUAL SUSPECTS
• A Michelin star or Michelin Key isn't required.
• Neither is a famous chef, an expensive tasting menu, an iconic address, or an international reputation.
• We consider every restaurant and hotel in Singapore. A small neighbourhood restaurant or independent hotel can sit alongside one of the city's most celebrated establishments if we believe it deserves to.
• The only requirement is that it has to be exceptional.
