Melodict: Learn with Songs
Language, lyrics & flashcards
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Tap any word in a song to see what it means, save it, and review it later. Create songs made for your level in 20 languages.
Melodict turns songs into language lessons.
Read the lyrics with a translation under every line. Tap any word to see what it means, hear it, and mark how well you know it. Press and hold to save a whole phrase. Every word you save becomes a flashcard, so a song you like becomes vocabulary you remember.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• More than 100 starter songs in 20 languages, each marked with a level from A1 to B2. Songs download the first time you open them, so the app takes much less space.
• A new Create screen. Describe the song, pick a genre and, if you like, a level from A1 to C2. If you paste your own lyrics, you see their level as you type.
• A song now costs 100 credits, whatever its length, so every plan and credit pack makes about twice as many songs.
• Learning Portuguese? Pick a Portugal or Brazil accent. There are new songs in European Portuguese.
• Review brings words back when you are about to forget them. You choose which levels to review and how many cards.
• Flashcards play the line of the song where the word is sung, and you can swipe between cards.
• Words sung while a song plays are added to your list automatically.
• Vocabulary lists the most common words first, with sorting and filters in one sheet.
• Home is more compact and has level and genre filters.
