Generate a new rhythm sheet, then play it against the click. Ritmio is a sight-reading trainer for rhythm. The notation is a single line with no pitch, so it works on any instrument: a kit or a practice pad, guitar strumming, bass lines, percussion, even clapping. Patterns in a method book get memorized. Once you know them, you are no longer reading. Ritmio writes a new sheet every time you tap Generate, so every run stays a first read. ■ Use it for - Reading a sheet and playing it straight away - Working out strumming and cutting patterns on guitar - Getting sixteenths and triplets under your hands - Playing accurately against a click - Getting sixteenths and triplets under your hands - Playing accurately against a click - Warming up on a practice pad ■ Features Random rhythm sheets Choose 4, 8, 12 or 16 bars. Each beat is drawn from a pool of rhythm shapes, so the result always reads like real notation. Pick your rhythms No triplets, triplets only, or mixed. Eighths, sixteenths, dotted notes and rests. Mixed switches the subdivision beat by beat, so start with triplets only. Notes across the beat (ties) Off, prefer note values, or prefer ties. Prefer ties gives you more slurs to read. Metronome BPM 40 to 200. Click on half, quarter, eighth or eighth-note triplets, with an accent on the downbeat and a one-bar count-in. Position bar A vertical bar follows the playback smoothly. Longer sheets scroll as you play. Separate volumes Set the sheet and the click independently. Turn the sheet down to zero and play it yourself against the click alone. Loop Repeat the same sheet with no gap, until you can play it. Favorites Name and save the sheets you like. Synced across iPhone and iPad with iCloud. ■ Not a tap game Nothing to tap, nothing to score. You play your own instrument. Ritmio just shows the sheet and keeps the time. ■ Requirements iPhone and iPad, portrait or landscape. Japanese and English.
