You get a Massachusetts firearms licence by passing the Basic Firearms Safety Certificate exam in the classroom. BFSC Test 2026 prepares you for it: the study material, every question with the correct answer, the handbook, the tests and spoken practice, in one app.

BFSC Test 2026
Carries practice questions written from Massachusetts General Laws chapters 140 and 269 as amended by Chapter 135 of the Acts of 2024, with 515 CMR 3.00 and the State Police Basic Firearms Safety Course curriculum. Every certified instructor writes and submits their own exam for State Police approval, so there is no single official question set and none is claimed here. This app is for the Massachusetts exam only. California runs a different test under different law.

Some of the questions in each of the first three topics are free, with the quick test drawn from that set, mistake practice and the question of the day.
