FocusHound 2.0 is a new app, built from the ground up. Meet your hound. He guards the apps you pick, keeps you company while you focus, and celebrates when you finish. Schedules for work, evenings and bedtime start and stop on their own, overnight too. Start a focus session of 25 to 90 minutes whenever you like. Need a break during a schedule? Walk your hound for 5 minutes (400 steps) and your apps open for 10. Or take five slow breaths for 5. Strict mode holds a block to the end. Strict schedules come with one emergency pass a week. If you used 1.3, I'm grateful for your support. This is an entirely new app, so you'll need to go through the setup again to get to know your new guard dog. Your subscription carries over.

• New setup: build your workday in a couple of minutes. • Your apps lock automatically during your work hours. • One-tap phone breaks that relock on their own. • A daily lunch break, with an earliest start time you choose. • Unlock apps for work when a task needs them, on a timer. • Strict mode: lock your settings during work hours. • A cleaner Home screen and lots of small fixes. Tasks are optional. Blocking works with or without them. Questions or ideas: hello@shiphound.app - Nic

I removed the AI coaching and task suggestions to simplify the experience. Use your deep work schedule, take timed breaks with automatic relocking, or enter your own task and tap Lock In outside scheduled hours. I'd love to hear your feedback: hello@shiphound.app - nic
